He was loved and cherished by many people including: his girlfriend Katina Manuel of Opelousas, LA; his mother Elise Jane Ward of Grand Coteau, LA; his children, Elijah Richard of Opelousas, LA, Kenneth Manuel (Lia Tarver) of Opelousas, LA, Korey Ward of Opelousas, LA, Keshia Manuel (Rod Angus) of Opelousas, LA, Jasmine Richard of Opelousas, LA, Kelly Manuel of Opelousas, LA and Kalisa Ward (Jonquel Jordan) of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Jerome Savoy of Grand Coteau, LA, John Ward of Grand Coteau, LA and Tessie Savoy of Grand Coteau, LA; his godchildren, Braillon Manuel, Jarvis Manuel and Dere'teshia Cary; his father Joseph James Savoy, Sr.; his brother Leroy Richard; and his nephew Jerome Chavis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ford and Joseph Funeral Home (907 N Market St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
