He is survived by: his children, Kenderial Chevis Hall (Jeffrey) of Atlanta, GA and Kenneth Chevis, Jr. (Darnetta) of Breaux Bridge, LA; his grandchildren, Bryson Chevis, Easton Hall, Kaizen Chevis and Bella Hall; his siblings, Joseph Wilson Chevis (Alice) of Opelousas, LA, Mary Betty Chavis Sam (Kerry) of Opelousas, LA, Peter Canisus Chevis of Opelousas, LA, Byron Charles Chavis (Melanie) of Opelousas, LA, Mary Shirley Chavis Donato of Opelousas, LA, Joseph Raymond Chavis (Debra) of Arnaudville, LA, Cecilia Chavis J. Lemelle of Opelousas, LA, Catherine Chavis Colomb of Arnaudville, LA and Jennifer Castille (Ray Bradshaw) of Portland, OR; and his godchildren, Tamika Kennerson, Tasha Savoy (Donald) and Milton Collins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
