He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hilton and Iola Thomas; his great-grandparents, Lee Collins Thomas, Edmonia Myers Thomas, Elizabeth Hopkins and Corneilus Gabriel; and his uncles, Patrick (Thomas) and Aaron "Boo" Thomas.
He is survived by: his parents, Sarah Thomas of Opelousas, LA and Michael Comeaux of Houston, TX; his son Kelon "KJ" Shemar Thomas, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; his sisters, Cassandra Thomas Trail (Brad) of Opelousas, LA and Rena Thomas Chachere (Thomas) of Opelousas, LA; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Walker, Jade Trail, Nilah Kennerson, Laylah Chachere, Jace Trail and Jacob Trail. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
