Kathleen (Gonsoulin) May David Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen (Gonsoulin) May David of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Claire; her former husband Sal May; her daughter Melody Smith; her great grandchild Adam Rushing; and her sister Dianne Heaney.

She is survived by: her husband Jeffery David; her children, Claire Levi (Gio) and Brian May (Tami); her sister Karen Bourque (Darrell); her grandchildren, Melissa Smith, Jennifer Cherrie (Jason), Adrienne Burnett (Dane), Lauren Alkoot (Hani), Blair Garza (Pedro), Megan Montgomery (William), Lindsi Theunissen (Stephen), Lance May and Logan May; and her great grandchildren, Shannon Smith (Dakota), Isiah Garza, Ezra, Asher Burnett, Faith, Rex Montgomery, Kayley, Karissa and Stephen Theunissen. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
