She was predeceased by: her husband William King, Sr.; her parents, Adam Young and Ida Gauthier Young; her daughter Mary King Hayes; and her siblings, Alvin Young, Nathan Young, Bernard Young, Wilton Young, Adner Young, George Young, Shay Young, Shirley Harris and Lou Bloom.
She is survived by: her children, William King, Jr. (Pamela) of Opelousas, LA, Eric King (Felicia) of Opelousas, LA, Martha King of Opelousas, LA, Debra Lewis (Ronald) of Opelousas, LA, Eva King of Opelousas, LA and Augustine Robertson (Mark) of Baton Rouge, LA; and her sister Estille Young White of Tempe, AZ. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; forty-three great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 8:30 a. m. to 10:45 a. m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
