He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Paillet and Marie Celeste Fournier Paillet; his brother Joseph Nathaniel Paillet; and his brother-in-law Andrew Caillier. He is survived by: his children, Jamila Paillet Porter (Jerome) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jude Paillet of Atlanta, GA, Jocelyn Paillet of Atlanta, GA and Joy Paillet of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Gene Paillet (Mary Lucille) of Opelousas, LA, Morris H. Paillet of Prairie Laurent, LA, Jeanette Paillet, Josephine Paillet, Fatima P. Guillory (Abner) of Madisonville, LA and Judy P. Caillier of Carencro, LA; his friend Clarence "Button" Jackson; and his sons, Nicholas Jackson and Joseph Jackson. He is also survived by his grandkids all of Opelousas, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
