She was predeceased by: her husband Nolton G. Vasseur; her parents, Kirby Ortego and Vernice Ortego; and her sisters, Versey Vasseur, Bernadine Richard, Virginia Ortego, Norma Jean Vasseur and Leola Vasseur.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Vasseur (Sanue) of Prairie Ronde, Terry Vasseur (Jeri) of Port Barre, Patty Richard Aucoin (Charles) of Lafayette and Janice Hollier (David) of Katy, TX; and her sisters, Ruby Brown of Port Barre and Ivy Dale Roberie (Sharon) of Grand Prairie. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
