Collins; her granddaughters, Chasity Collins, Ronecia Collins and Denecia Collins; her siblings, Silverene Stevens, Cathlee Lebine, Eugene Stevens, Murlin Stevens and Earl Stevens; her siblings-in-law, Mary Lydia Stevens, John Lebine, Charles Brown and Patrick Colomb; her uncles, Joshua Semien, Ivory Semien and Hurley Semien; her aunt Hazel Semien; and her nieces and nephews, Chariety Jordan, Shaquanda Richard, Kia Amos, Kiely Mayo, Langston Colomb, Tharius Simmons, Eric Stevens and Travis Stevens.

She is survived by: her daughters, Yosha Collins of Opelousas, LA and Caprisha Collins (Clifton) of Opelousas, LA; her sisters, Maudry Mayo of Lake Charles, LA and Lois Stevens of Opelousas, LA; her son Vernon (Doc); her grandchildren, Tamara Collins of Opelousas, LA, Tamarick Collins of Opelousas, LA, Saniya Payne of Opelousas, LA, Jeniya Comeaux of Opelousas, LA, Jasmine Chenier of Opelousas, LA and TyreeAyana Mickens of Opelousas, LA; her great grandchildren, Caden Sam of Opelousas, LA, Khyleigh Collins of Opelousas, LA, Christian Collins of Opelousas, LA, Taylin Payne of Opelousas, LA, Jaydon Chenier of Opelousas, LA and Lola Collins of Sulphur, LA; her godchildren, Bridgette Simmons and Darin Lebine of Opelousas, LA; her siblings-in-law, Darrell Collins (Carrie) of Marksville, LA, Lonnie Collins (Michelle), Lionel Collins (Gwendolyn), Barbara Brown of Opelousas, LA, Georgia Stevens of Opelousas, LA, Alice Colomb of Opelousas, LA, Loretta Stevens of Opelousas, LA, Tina Harper of Dallas, TX, Sharlet Weaver of Phenix City, AL and Sandra Collins of Marksville, LA; and her nieces and nephews, Paula Rideau, Tommy Rideau (Jessica), Ivory Rideau (Charlotte) and Byron Rideau. Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (817 E South St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (732 N Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
