She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Faul and Elmire Meche; her husband Joseph Corbett "J. C." Richard; and her siblings, Eddie Faul, George Faul, Alduse Faul, Lee Ray Faul, Bob Ray Faul, Geraldine Aucoin and Mary Fontenot.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Richard (Linda) of Opelousas, Mark Richard (Peggy) of Grand Prairie, Charlotte Smithey (Jim) and Ann Schatzle (John) of Tampa, FL; and her grandchildren, Lauren Richard (Larry Clark), Adam Richard (Kanako), Meredith Barrows (Michael), Gerard Carriere (Kristy), Courtney Simon, Jacob Smithey, Jared Smithey (Julia Richard), Chrystal Jumonville and Matthew Richard (Devin). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
