It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Glover (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Glover and Sovelia Orville Glover; her son Michael W. Fontenot; and her siblings, Olivia Mayo, Ethel Roberts, Margaret Anderson, Golden Glover and Ernest Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Fontenot of Opelousas, LA, Sheila Lazard (Mark, Sr.) of Opelousas, LA, Michelle Harrison (Demutrius) of Opelousas, LA, Porsche Joseph (David) of Scott, LA, Ray Fontenot of Columbus, MS and Stanley Joseph (Darlene) of Carencro, LA; and her siblings, Joseph N. Glover of New Orleans, LA, Pearl Rice of Cypress, TX and Beulah Richard of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
