He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Sonnier and Savannah Sonnier; and his siblings, Barbara Sonnier, Victoria Jackson, Lawrence, Clement and Edward Sonnier.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Campbell, Latoya Duriso of Opelousas, LA and Nathaniel Sonnier of Opelousas, LA; and his brothers, James Sonnier (Geneva) of Opelousas, LA and Herbert "Red" Sonnier (Annette) of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
