He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Pitre and Louisa Pitre; his siblings, James Pitre (Lou) and Wilma Pitre Venable (Merlin); and his cousin Gordon Pitre.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Venable Pitre of Opelousas; his daughter Christina Pitre; and his cousins, Carol Venable, Lorraine Venable (Don), Marilyn Pitre Dejean (Kenny), Scott Pitre (Emily), Jed Reviere (Cindy), Kelly Carroll (Bryant) and Kim Thompson (Jamie).
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mr. Pitre to the United Heart Association.
