He is survived by: his children, Joseph Wayne Pickens of Opelousas, Kenneth James Pickens (Denise) of Lafayette, James Terry Pickens of Houston, TX, Brenda Broussard (Alex) of Carencro, Camelita Pickens of Houston, TX and JoAnn Pickens of Opelousas; his sisters-in-law, Eva Hall of China, TX, Shirley Mayon of Opelousas and Mabel Zachary of Opelousas; his close friends, Willie Eaglin of Opelousas, Arthur and Irma Charles of Opelousas; and his cousin Kelly Jones of Los Angeles, CA.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
