He is survived by: his wife Hazel Ann Lewis; his children, Oscar M. Lewis, Robert J. Lewis, Phillip P. Lewis, Daniel Francis (Stephanie), Joseph D. Francis (Robin), Dwight Francis (Helen), Ophelia S. Lewis, Denise Francis, Chantelle McBride (Matthew) and Delanna Francis; and his siblings, Charles Lewis (Betty), Beatrice Lewis, Shirley L. Francis and Beulah L. Breaux (Wilbert). He is also survived by thirty six grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
