With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Lee Laday of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on June 19, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon LaDay and Viola Duplechain LaDay; his wife Mary Rogers LaDay; his daughter Della Reese LaDay; his siblings, Marjorie Lee Meche and Martin LaDay, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Janice LaDay, Preston Broussard and Etienne Meche.
He is survived by: his sons, Rev. Gregory A. LaDay, Sr. (Alfreda) of Opelousas, LA and Matthew LaDay of Houston, TX; his siblings, Marjorie Nell Broussard of Fairfield, CA, Bert LaDay of Church Point, LA and Aaron LaDay (Joy) of Sacramento, CA; his sister-in-law Margaret LaDay of Church Point, LA; and his goddaughter Barbara Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
