He was predeceased by: his daughter Ebony Batiste; his parents, Joseph Ventress Albert and Virgie Shelvin Albert; and his brother Kevin Don Albert. He is survived by: his daughter Rivasha Richard of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, James Albert (Katherine) of Opelousas, LA, Jermaine Albert (Candace) of Sunset, LA, Kurt Albert of Opelousas, LA, Lenzy Albert (Courtney) of Katy, TX, Pauline Richard of Opelousas, LA, Beverlyn Leday (Cleveland) of Lawtell, LA, Ann Andrea Albert Quebedeaux (Ronald) of Opelousas, LA, Marla Kennerson of Lawton, OK and Donna Kaye Newman of Opelousas, LA; his son-in-law Chad Batiste of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Y'Nobe, Tajh, O'Ryah, Thai and Khai; and his great grandchild Anahla. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church.
