With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Guidry (Opelousas, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Guidry; his parents, Hilton Guidry and Philomene Rubin Guidry; his daughter Miranda Guidry; his siblings, Patrick Guidry, Janice Guidry and Patricia Rami; and his brother-in-law Wendell Mason.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anika Guidry of Opelousas, LA and Chrissie Guidry of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Daniel Guidry (Mary) of Opelousas, LA, Jeffery Guidry (Marcella) of Opelousas, LA and Laura Mason of Opelousas, LA; and his grandchildren, Jai Fontenot, Tyree Fontenot, Jace Fontenot, Kaitlyn Guidry, Ari Guidry, Davyn Guidry and Destiny Guidry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Ford and Joseph Funeral Home (907 N Market St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
