He was predeceased by: his parents, Evangeline Marie Boudreaux Carrier and Warren Carrier; his grandparents, Joseph, Mollie Riggs Boudreaux, Benjamin and Alice Broussard Carrier; and his siblings, Thomas Murphy Carrier, Sr., James Edward Carrier, Clinton Charles Carrier, Mary Joelene Williams and Irene Lou Beckwith.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Floyd Carrier, Jr. (Michelle Washington) of Houston, TX, Dwight McKeeven Carrier (Tamara Small) of Sausalito, CA, Dealina Denise Carrier (Joseph Citizen) of Church Point, LA and Darlene Marie Carrier (Gilbert Perrodin) of Church Point, LA; his niece Dayna Sherayn Chavis (Abraham) of Church Point, LA; his grandsons, Joseph Floyd Carrier, III (Mabel) of Eunice, LA, Joseph JaQuinton of Eunice, LA and Brandon Khan Henry of Lafayette, LA; his sisters, Laura Marie Doolittle of Church Point, LA, Rose Linda Carrier of Houston, TX and Brenda Gail Carrier-Childe (Victor) of Houston, TX; and his sister-in-law Rose Carrier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 8:00 a. m. to 10:45 a. m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
