He was predeceased by: his parents, Josue Mallet and Agnes Thibodeaux; and his brother Roy Mallet. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Meche Mallet of Opelousas; his children, Scott Mallet (Sheila) of Opelousas and Monique Mallet D'Avy (Mark) of Leonville; his grandchildren, Christopher Mallet (Brandy), Coby Mallet, Victoria Mallet Gremillion (Will), Nicholas D'Avy (Laci Daigle) and Amber D'Avy (Owen Kidder); his great grandchildren, Jacob Mallet, Alex Mallet, Nova Gremillion, Liam Kidder and Demi Kidder; and his sister-in-law Charlene Mallet.
