We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2020, at the age of 80, Joseph Benny Fontenot (Opelousas, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sylvan and Carrie Huval Fontenot. He is survived by: his sons, Lynard Fontenot of Waxahachie, Texas, Scott Fontenot of Junction City, Kansas and Keith Fontenot of Bedford; his brother Johnny Fontenot (Marguerite) of Opelousas, LA.; his grandchildren, Nina, John, Kevin, Devin and Landry Fontenot; and his great grandchild Matthias Fuentes.

Due to the Covid 19 mandated gathering restrictions, a private memorial service will be held for Joseph Benny Fontenot.
