It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Rubin of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Leona Richard and Fannel Rubin, Sr.; his grandmother Eva Richard; and his sisters, Jeanelle Bellard, Jeanette Richard, Beverly Rubin and Mary Rose Rubin.
He is survived by: his wife Pinky of Washington; his children, Lawrence Palmer, LaTosca Pitre (Martin), Darlene Mayo, Louise of Washington, Ashley Mayo and Lauren of Washington; and his siblings, Joseph Richard, Willam Richard, Jonah Richard, Fannel Rubin, Jr., Anthony Rubin, Patricia "Blue" Rubin Davis and Treles Hubbard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
