He was predeceased by: his parents, Celina T. Johnson and John W. Johnson, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Carmon Leslie. He is survived by: his wife Alice Rocio Johnson; his children, Travis Johnson, Sr. (LaTasha) and Tiphania Johnson; his grandchildren, Tamaria, Travis, Jr., Corey, Cortlon and Saige; his children, Christopher Rocio, Ashley Lewis (Tremaine) and Krystal Jean-Batiste; his sister Jaymetta Leslie; his godmother Rebecca Cureau; and his godchild Tenisha Slaughter. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and life-long friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mark United Methodist Church (534 S Market St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Memory Cemetery (218 Ford Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570).
