He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Taylor and Ezola B. Taylor; his siblings, Kirk A. Taylor and Mirinda A. Taylor; and his nephew Shawn "Flip" Taylor.
He is survived by: his sons, John D. Taylor, Jr. (Ashley) of Port Bare, LA and Jordan Taylor of Port Bare, LA; the mother of his children Michelle Shakesnider of Opelousas, LA; and his siblings, Charles R. Taylor (Henrietta Rogers) of Sunset, LA and Jackie Taylor Bellard (Kerry) of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Charles R. and Ezola B. Taylor; one brother, Kirk A. Taylor; one sister, Mirinda A. Taylor; and a nephew, Shawn "Flip" Taylor. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
