He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Jolivette, Sr. and Vernice "Bernice" Comeaux Jolivette; and his brothers, Darrell Jolivette, Jr. and Joseph Robert Jolivette. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Richard Jolivette of Opelousas, LA; his sons, Terrell Jolivette (Jennifer) of Spring, TX and John Drake Jolivette (Marcela) of Baton Rouge, LA; and his siblings, Eugene Jolivette (Cynthia) of Baton Rouge, LA, Joyce Boliver Haywood of Missouri City, TX, Betty Jolivette of Houston, TX, Ruby Jolivette of Opelousas, LA and Jeanette Jolivette of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
