He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Hooks Benoit; his sons, Kaleb Aaron Benoit and Joshua Blake Benoit; his mother Margaret Ortego Benoit; his siblings, Alfred "Bubba" Benoit and Margaret Benoit Fontenot (Shane); his grandchildren, Sophia Elizabeth Benoit, Viviann Rose Benoit, Chase Michael Benoit and Jaxston James Benoit; his nieces and nephews, Mallory Fontenot, Kimberly Kincaid and Gabe Klein; his godchildren, Bailey Hooks, Addison Hooks, Destin Marks, Taylor Baham, Caden Journet, Kristie Benoit, Beau Benoit, Jonah Fontenot and Jada Fontenot; his siblings-in-law, Cindy Klein (Stacey Hooks) and Chris Hooks; his mother-in-law Sandra Christine Hooks; his close friend Robert Menard; and his cousin James Klein.
