We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2022, at the age of 71, John B. Adams Jr. (Opelousas, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Charlotte Faye Adams; his parents, Lillie Journet Adams and John Budd Adams Sr.; and his grandparents, Lucille Bob and Norway Journet.
He is survived by: his children, John B. Adams III (Natalie), Carl Wayne Adams (Tiffany), Lee A. Adams, Sr. (Romone), Ave Maria Adams, Leslie A. Adams and Stacey Adams; and his siblings, Martin Journet, Theresa Cain (Raymond), Margaret Burks, Mary Louise Edwards (Richard), LouElla Tanner (Frederick), Pauline Boagni, Alice Crethene (Michael), Jennie Simon (Russell) and Lovenia Nevills (Dennis). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
