He is survived by: his wife Elaine Joubert Soileau; his daughters, Jerelyn Mayeux (David), Tina Soileau and Dawn Hargroder (Marty); his brother B. J. "Black" Soileau (Glenda); his sisters-in-law, Patsy Soileau, Linda Joubert and Joyce Joubert; his grandchildren, Nicholas Mayeux, Dr. Alex Mayeux, Benjamin Mayeux and Emily Hargroder; his great grandchild David James Mayeux; and his pet Max.
