He is survived by: his children, Hilton Lavergne, Jr. (Carla) of Opelousas, LA, Stephanie Joubert (Dale) of Opelousas, LA and Celeste Thomas (Harold) of Opelousas, LA; and his sisters, Carolyn Dominique (Jimmy) of Opelousas, LA and Phyllis Vallier of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
