She was predeceased by: her son Bruce Pitre; her former husband Widnay Pitre; her husband Willie Peter Chelette; her parents, Joseph Hampton Lafleur and Marie Thelma Joubert; her grandson Joseph Pitre; and her siblings, Robert Louis Lafleur, Gloria Mae Roberie and Elizabeth Josephine "Betty Jo" Thibodeaux.
She is survived by: her children, Joey Pitre (Maureen) of Baton Rouge, Travis Pitre (Pauline) of Prairieville and Brenda Rome (Stanley) of Gonzales; and her daughter-in-law Christine Pitre of Zachary. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
