She was predeceased by: her parents, John Malveaux and Nora Malveaux; and her siblings, Joseph Daily Malveaux, J. B. Malveaux, Ferdinand Malveaux, Nora Lavigne, Mathilda Tezeno, Sylvia Martin, Laura Lartigue and Myrtle.
She is survived by: her husband Alphonse Pitre, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; and her children, Wayne K. Pitre (Gwendolyn) of Opelousas, LA, Randy T. Pitre (Leanna) of Houston, TX and Wanna F. Thompson (Bracy) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 11:00 a. m. to 12:45 p. m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
