She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Ravare and Teresa Beridon Ravare; and her brother-in-law Alvin Metoyer, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Colson; her daughters, Teresa Colson Burns (Cody) and Tracey Colson Antee (Richie); her siblings, Milton Ravare (Joan), Steve Ravare (Cabrini), Ronnie Ravare (Rosie), Norma Metoyer, Gail Wills (Charles) and Karen Bernestine (Arthur); and her grandchildren, Hope Sprowl, Colson Fontenot, Madison Burns, Bailey Burns, Landon Fontenot and Reese Burns.
The family wishes that memorial contributions be made to support this event in making it a true Creole celebration.
