He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hopkins and Mae Patteon Hopkins; and his sister Althea Hopkins. He is survived by: his close friend Pamela Spencer of Iota, LA; his sons, Khristopher (Lucero) of Oregon, Triston Hopkins of Iota, LA, Kelvin Hopkins of Iota, LA and Kye Spencer of Iota, LA; his siblings, Freedie Lee Polk of California, Hulon Polk of Texas, Alfreda Polk of Texas, Inesta Hart of Texas and Cassandra Hopkins of Texas; and his godchildren, Dominiqua Thomas of Iota, LA, Kaylane of Eunice, LA and Harper Gatte of Gottes Cove. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at Progressive Baptist Church. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
