He is survived by: his wife Norma Ortego Huguet of Opelousas; his sons, James Mitchell Huguet (Shawn) of Picayune and Joseph Todd Huguet (Cynthia) of New Roads; his sister Barbara Huguet Latiolais (Larry) of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Sarah Huguet Veillon (Dwayne Paul) of Schriever and William Sidney Huguet of New Orleans; and his great grandchild Memphis Paul Veillon.
