He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christopher Bud and Martha Savant Deville; his wife Mamie Ruth Briley Deville; his son James Gerald "Jerry" Deville, Jr.; his great grandchild Rebecca Kate; his daughters, Rebecca Taylor (Mike), Barbara Schwegmann (John) and Patricia Broussard (Ted); and his daughter-in-law Karen Deville. He was also cherished by his siblings and many old friends.
