He is survived by: his wife Anna Dell Douglas Johnson of Whiteville, LA; his children, James Johnson, Jr. of Whiteville, LA, Joseph Johnson (Shelia) of Opelousas, LA, Darrel Johnson (Penny) of Houston, TX, Shelia Beauchamp (Harold) of Garland, LA, Sandra Brown (Calvin) of Beaumont, TX and Anna Ward (James) of Opelousas, LA; and his sister Catherine Thomas of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
