With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Adams of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Morgan Elizabeth Adams; his brother Tommy Adams; and his parents, O. L. Adams and Katherine Adams Morris. He is survived by: his wife Judy Feron Adams; his children, Lisa Adams Hargett, James Benjamin Adams and Dennis Paul Adams; his stepson Jay Begbie; and his grandchildren, James Wesley Olley, James Christian Adams, James Crawford Adams and Dagny Elizabeth Adams. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sibille Funeral Home (2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
