It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabelle Doucet (Opelousas, Louisiana), born in Mamou, Louisiana, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hince McCauley and Ethel Bergeron McCauley; her husband J. B. Doucet Jr.; and her granddaughter Ashley Doucet Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Doucet (Renee), Danny Doucet (Tina), Joey Doucet (Bridget), Cathy Smith (Bergis) and Deanna Ardoin (Scott); her siblings, Evans Bergeron (Sherry) and Cheryl Guillory; and her grandchildren, Eric Doucet, Sean Doucet, Felicia Manuel, Steven Smith, Stephanie Burge, Tracey Joubert, Amy Richard, Danielle Fuselier, Byron Doucet, Jordan Doucet, Brooke Walker and Alise Tran. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
