He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Guidry and Leola Guidry; his daughters, Linda Marie Guidry and Agnes Marie Guidry; his siblings, Louis Guidry, Ledee Marks and Lydia Riche (Lester); his son-in-law Russell Higginbotham; and his brother-in-law Thomas Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Marks Guidry; his children, Jerry Guidry (Sandra), Bradley Guidry (Tammy), Kim Guidry (Lora), Diane G. Higginbotham and Janice G. Roberie (Jeff); and his sister Alice G. Hicks. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
