She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Norman Sr. and Dorothy Strauss Norman Brown; her husband Preston Carmouche Sr.; her daughter Alice Marie Carmouche; her sons-in-law, Joseph Lemelle, Matthew Crummedyo, John Bushnell and Richard Crane; her grandchildren, Michael Lemelle and Angela Henry; her great grandchildren, Jamie Deville, Zenavie Crier and Danielle Anderson; and her siblings, Eva Jordan, Lorentine Sam, Hazel Jordan, Lillie Mae Bernard, Piola Chavis, Merlie Mae Carmouche, Dorothy Broussard, Peter Norman, Domoville Norman, Charley Norman, Jr. and Rogers Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Carmouche (Elizabeth) of Sunset, LA, Herbert Carmouche (Michelle), Preston Anthony Carmouche of Houston, Syble Charlot of Opelousas, LA, Lori Ann Pierre-August (Paul) of Opelousas, LA, Patricia Lastrapes (Don) of Grand Coteau, LA, Rita Crane of Houston, TX, Jeanette Crummedyo of Houston, TX, Elizabeth Anderson (Jerome) of Houston, TX, Sherell Andres (Paul Jr.) of Houston, TX, Wilda Rideau (Errol) of Harvey, LA and Pamela Seamster (Roderick) of Yorba Linda, CA. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren, 91 great grandchildren, and 31 great -great grandchildren; three sisters –in-law.
