He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie Sue Soileau; his parents, Xavier Soileau and Hilda Lavergne Soileau Hernandez; his brother Irvin Soileau; and his stepdaughter Traci Reno.
He is survived by: his children, Kermit Soileau (Tammy) of West Monroe and Gwen Soileau of Lafayette; the mother of his children Ethel Duplechain Soileau; his sisters, Earline S. Fontenot of Ville Platte and Betty Mae S. Cormier of Jennings; his stepchildren, Kip Brown, Rhondi Orgeron, Tami Orgeron and Rori Edgen (Randy); his grandchildren, Tanner and Tyler Soileau (Kendra); and his stepgrandson Tolar. He is also survived by 3 step great-grandchildren.
