He is survived by: his children, Herbert Mallet, Jr. of Port Barre, LA, Stanley Levier of Lafayette, LA, Roger Lee Mallet of Port Barre, LA, Quintin James Mallet of Port Barre, LA, Tiffany Thomas (Phillip) of Port Barre, LA, Mary Jones (Donald) of Port Barre, LA and Casey Jones (Percy) of Port Barre, LA; his siblings, David Mallet of Palmetto, LA, Letha Hardy of Port Barre, LA, Brenda Guidry of Port Barre, LA, Laura Charles of Port Barre, LA and Louella Mallet of Port Barre, LA; and his godchildren, Jessica, Emma, Rachel and Stacy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
