He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Edna Wilson Pitre, Sr.; his daughter Nerma Latricia Pitre; and his siblings, Larry Pitre, Sr., Raleigh Pitre, Anne Laura Pitre, Edna Jane Pitre, Juanita Duhon and Elwiner Calloway.
He is survived by: his wife Elyouna Dave Pitre of Opelousas, LA; his children, Kevin Pitre, Sr. (Charissa) of Lafayette, LA, Lemuel Pitts (Mary) of Opelousas, LA and Sandra Pitts (John) of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, MacLindsey Pitre (Sally) of Memphis, TN, Lee Morris Pitre (Virginia) of Oakwood, TX, Brenda Toston of Ville Platte, LA, Priscilla Williams of Lake Charles, LA, Patricia Tezeno (Moise) of Lake Charles, LA and Gwendolyn Thomas (Gilbert) of Montgomery, TX; and his grandchildren, Kevin L. Pitre, Jr., Elyouna N. Ledoux and Sidne Pitre. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, Godchildren, relatives and friends.
