We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Gregory Davis (Opelousas, Louisiana). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph and Vera Burrows of Missouri. He is survived by: his wife Melony Davis of Opelousas, LA; his children, Joe (Zoe Davis), James Davis (Rachel Matte), Alyce (Caleb Schott) and Kaitlyn Johnson; his grandchildren, Wyatt Davis, Piper Davis and Rosalyn Matte; his mother Eileen Powell; his siblings, Glen Davis and Patricia Bowles; his parents-in-law, Gerald, Gloria Bellow, Melissa Bellow, Shane, Anne Bellow, Monica and Brandon Sheehan; and his nieces and nephews, Claire, Eris and Ayden.

Considering the on-going pandemic, funeral services will be held for immediate family only; though a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made in Greg's name to Lafayette Habitat for Humanity either through their website or by calling, 337-371-6030.

“Over the years my partner and I had the opportunity to work with Gregory. He was always professional and really knew is stuff. Most of all he was a kind man and became a friend. Recently we have been fortunate enough to work with Gregory on his newest and probably largest project. I am sad that we will not be able to complete it with Gregory, but rest assured his fingerprints are on this project and it will be a better project because of him.”
