She is survived by: her children, Merrick Simien, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Joseph Simien of Opelousas, LA, Winston Simien of Opelousas, LA, John Simien (Felicia) of Opelousas, LA, Patrick Simien (Vicki) of Washington, DC, Daniel Simien of Carencro, LA, Queen Babineaux (Joseph) of Opelousas, LA, Linda Frank of Crowley, LA and Brenda Simien of Lafayette, LA; her siblings, Nelson Winfrey of Lake Alfred, FL, Melvin Winfrey of Houston, TX, Davis Winfrey, Mitchell Winfrey, Delores Mouton (James) of Eunice, LA, Dorothy Newman (Leo) of Pearland, TX and Mary Alice Winfrey of Opelousas, LA; and her grandchildren, Sherika of Joseph, III, Reese, Jacob, Taylor, Kaylor, Josh, Ana, Sygourney, Victor, Jaune, John, Jr., Lea, Traveon and Raven. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
