She was predeceased by: her husband Charles C. Morain; her parents, Foster Mixon and Myrtle Mixon; her children, Randall "Randy" Morain and Judith Ann Morain; and her sisters, Marquarite Taylor, Gladys Ryder, Delores Comeaux, Judy Adams and Sharon Carlin.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Ray Morain of Palmetto and Dawn Christe Morain of Opelousas; her sister Bessie Marie Boles; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Morain, Alyssa Morain, Stacey Courville, Tracey Morain, Christopher Lee Deleon and John Paul Deleon. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and three great -great grandchildren.
