She was predeceased by: her parents, Derbes Daire and Omerine Ortego Daire; her husband Robert Lee Kretzer, Sr.; her siblings, Marvin Daire, John Littell "Doc" Daire of Joseph Derbes, Kerron John Daire, Pauline Rape, Versie Lafleur and Ethel Daire Darby; and her sister-in-law Ethel Daire.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lee Kretzer, Jr. (Toni) of Ville Platte, Louisiana, Peggy Kretzer (Sarah) of Harrisonville and Annette Kretzer Fontenot (Don) of Opelousas, Louisiana; and her brother Delouis Daire of Ville Platte, Louisiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
