She was predeceased by: her husband Aaron Charles Sr.; her son Aaron Charles Jr.; her parents, Edmonia Minix Richard and Jimmy Richard Sr.; and her siblings, Jimmy Richard Jr., Frank Stewart, Robert Richard, Dennis Kennerson and Delores Courtney.

She is survived by: her siblings, Louella Brooks (Ronald) of Aurora, CO, Edmond Stewart of Aurora, CO and Alex Richard of Opelousas, LA; and her grandchildren, Latoya Henry-Span (Montreal) of Berwick, LA, Nicole Charles of Mastick, NY and Brian Senegal (Saroruen) of Abeline, TX.
