Georgie Mae James Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2020, at the age of 87, Georgie Mae James (Opelousas, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Felix James; her parents, George Charlot and Lydia Charlot; and her children, Donovan, Jeffery James, Bridgette and Elizabeth James.
She is survived by: her sons, Derrick James of Church Point, LA and Marcus James (Darlene) of Rayne, LA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also devoted in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 8:00 a. m. to 10:45 a. m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
