She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Augustine (Micheal) of Opelousas, Duane Richard (Trasima) of Lafayette, Jimmy Richard (Andrea) of Beaumont, Roderick Richard (Wakeisha) of Arnaudville and Cedrick Richard of Opelousas; her daughter-in-law Takisha Richard of Melbourne, Fla.; and her siblings, Clarence Lazard Sr. of Opelousas, Ernest Lazard of Opelousas, Timothy Elister Lazard, Sr. of Beaumont, Janet Leblanc (Alfred Sr.) of Beaumont and Mary Jane Wilson of Opelousas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Ford and Joseph Funeral Home (907 N Market St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
