He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Garrett and Mary Jane Guillory Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Mae Tyler Garrett; his daughters, Brenda Landor (Leroy), Deanna Anderson (Gary) and Sondria Dupree (Alfred); his sisters, Neitha Mae Freeman and Ruby Lee Tigner; his great great grandchild Godly; his son Dennis Mouton (Rusty); his godchild Treena Rami; and also, Dorothy Guilbeaux and Mary Guilbeaux. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren.
